The former captain and one of the top senior players in Pakistani team, Younis Khan is confident that 2015 will be the year when Pakistan finish their win less line against India in World Cups.  He said, "History can be changed and I think that this time we can alter it and win against India.  Khan also told in Lahore that the Pakistani team, have never beaten Indian team in any World Cup competition in five contests since the event of 1975.
Younis said, he would like to take forward his current form into the World Cup, to be equally hosted by Australia and New Zealand. Younis Khan has hit five centuries and a fifty in his last ten international forms. Lately when I played in opposition to Australia in the Tests, public were wondering if Younis was finished but I just hit form & begun scoring centuries on a hurry. This plum patch can also ensue to me in the World Cup tournament," he added. Exciting India vs Pakistan game, listed on February 15, is previously a sell out and is predictable to be the most watched cricket match in the olden times. Khan said Pakistan have some very superior performers and if every player could do his work sensibly and play akin to a unit, then they could strike against India.

The senior player noted that there were no favorites in the upcoming World Cup as the way one-day cricket had changed in modern years and this time anyone could triumph the name as the rule varies had narrowed the gap between the peak teams. "You can declare in Australian and New Zealand conditions the host countries or South Africa and England will have benefit but even they cannot be named as favorites," he thinks.

Younis Khan has played in 259 ODIs and he plans to go off after the World Cup tournament. "I really haven’t thought about an instant retirement because honestly speaking; still enjoying playing and my appetite for cricket is motionless there. I still don't wish to end one of the best stages of my time which is playing international cricket. Playing Test cricket for Pakistan was one of the most excellent times of his life and as long as he was well and in form he would carry on playing and retirement will be my private decision," he expressed. Two of Pakistan's most skilled players, captain Misbah-ul-Haq & Shahid Afridi  have already declared they will retire from ODIs after the World Cup journey.

"They need to be appreciated as an alternative of creating controversies. They know greatest the condition of their body and strength and mental state of mentality. When I also retire only I can settle on best the time to declare goodbye."
Younis Khan admired Misbah for restoring the pleasure and image of Pakistan cricket after taking a hit after the spot-fixing dishonor in 2010.
He thinks that, "Misbah has played with huge responsibility to revive Pakistan cricket after the spot-fixing shame and as a skipper he has done a lot to carry constancy to the team".
